Husky safari including lunch / friday

Description

Our transfer leaves from North Village reception and takes us to Ivalo, where the safari will take place.
The closer we get, the clearer we hear what is about to happen. We hear the barking of quite a number of dogs, mostly huskies, that eagerly wait for pulling the sleds.
Before departure, we are given an introduction into how to guide a dog team. Two persons per dog team: one person sits inside the sled while the other steers the team standing on the runners of the sled.
The participants can swap places when breaks are taken on the journey.
